Continuing Education Credit
 The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. Participants can earn more than 50 contact hours (5.0 CEU’s) by purchasing and completing all GeriatricPharmacyReview.com modules. The education credit that will be awarded for each qualifying module are indicated in the course catalog. Statements of credit will be awarded on-line for participants who complete the textbook portion of the module, take each review concept quiz and pass with a grade of 70% or better.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the participant should be able to:
- Collect and evaluate patient-specific information as it relates to specific diseases in the elderly and the provision of pharmaceutical care
- Apply pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic changes associated with aging to the design of the pharmacotherapy regimen
- Apply disease specific knowledge in the design of a pharmaceutical care plan, including patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic recommendations and monitoring parameters
- Interpret and apply geriatric practice guidelines
